Meet Stuart

STUART McCALLA
Consultant/Facilitator/Coach/Advisor

Stuart McCalla guides leaders ready for change. He collaborates with
C-suite executives, founders, and senior teams who seek to lead clearly, deeply, and resiliently during constant change. Stuart has a background in organizational consulting and executive coaching. He has worked with leading companies such as Splice, HashiCorp, and Slack. He helps bold leaders, especially from underrepresented backgrounds, shed old habits and then guides them to build a strong inner foundation that empowers them.

His approach focuses on deep, structured processes rather than quick fixes. This lens changes how leaders think, connect, and decide. This shift occurs in both their personal lives and in their organizations.

Stuart brings more than 20 years of experience in organizational consulting, executive coaching, and equity work. He combines systems thinking, Integral Theory, somatics, and adaptive leadership. He uses tools like The Leadership Circle 360, Enneagram, and IDI for lasting, strategic growth. Stuart is a PCC ICF-certified coach trained by Integral Coaching Canada. He also holds multiple certifications in Agile, Team Transformation, and Change Management, and has training in peer counseling on race, gender, class, and belonging.

Stuart is known for his precision, compassion and to hold space as deep change happens. He creates a space for leaders to reflect, recalibrate, and rise while staying true to their humanity. His clients don’t just grow, they become leaders who handle complexity calmly, make brave choices, and lead others with integrity.

"We must be willing to let go of the life we planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us.."

Kevin Stewart, SVP of Engineering

Splice

“When I first met Stuart, I was going through significant career challenges. As we worked together that first year, Stuart helped me identify which problems were mine to own and choose to address. He exposed me to a variety of ideas and frameworks that have helped me navigate several complex situations successfully. Stuart's approach is almost Socratic; his questions help shine a light on things I never considered. He never dictates or directs but instead offers up ideas for me to consider. Our sessions range from lighthearted and fun to deep and challenging. The transition to my current role also marked a transition in my thinking and approach, thanks to Stuart's guidance and support. Stuart's coaching is a key factor in my leveling up as an executive and leader."
