Kim spent more than a decade at Wells Fargo, rising to the firm's Management Committee, the top 300 senior leaders among 200,000 employees globally. Across three enterprise leadership roles – COO of Corporate Real Estate, Global Head of Workplace, and Global Head of Employee Engagement – one principle held constant: investing in employee experience drives business performance. She ran an 80 million square foot portfolio on a $3B operating budget and delivered $90 million in occupancy savings in a single year. She led the enterprise COVID response and a phased return to office for 125,000 employees that became a reference model for hybrid work in financial services. She consolidated fragmented engagement programs into one enterprise capability, lifting retention and promotion rates the same year LinkedIn ranked Wells Fargo the #2 Top Company to work for in the U.S.

 

Through The Tapestry, Kim works as a consultant, advisor, and fractional COO. Alongside that work she co-founded Suretify, an AI-powered claims platform for the commercial surety industry, and advises venture portfolio companies on operations and go-to-market. Building and advising in real time is what keeps her counsel current rather than retrospective, particularly on the question every executive team is now asking: what artificial intelligence actually changes about how work gets done, and what it does not.

 

Kimberly holds a dual MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management and Queen’s University’s Smith School of Business, and a BA from UCLA. She began her career on the Human Capital & Strategic Change team at BearingPoint (now PwC Advisory) serving clients across financial services and technology.
